Welcome to Tualatin's bidding and requests for proposals page. When projects are "sent out to bid", they will be advertised here as well as in the Daily Journal of Commerce. After a bid is advertised, its plan holders list will be updated every weekday by 4:00pm until the bids are due. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the Bid Closing (the due date). After a Bid is "closed", the final bid results will be updated to this page.

Request for Proposals for Tualatin Gateway Feature and Monument Sign Project

Tualatin seeks an artist or collaborative team to design, create, and install a gateway feature with either a separate or integrated monument sign at Tualatin's main entrance on Tualatin-Sherwood Road.

The gateway feature will welcome people to Tualatin in a manner that reflects Tualatin's unique characteristics and creates a sense of place for people entering the city. The challenge will be to capture the essence of Tualatin in the gateway and monument sign project.

Hedges Creek Sanitary Sewer Bank Repair and Stabilization

Request for Proposals for Tualatin Public Library Espresso Bar and Vending Operations

Tualatin seeks concessionaires to submit proposals for the operation of an Espresso Bar and/or vending services inside the new Tualatin Public Library.

The City intends for the menu to follow a traditional coffee shop menu but with an added emphasis on healthy food. Open year-round during library hours.

Request for Proposals for the ASR Well No.1 Rehabilitation

Major items of work consist of the pump removal and installation, redevelopment, chemical treatment, and testing of a production well (ASR Well No.1) completed on property owned by the City of Tualatin on SW 108th Avenue in Tualatin, Oregon.

Request for Proposals for Provision of Canoe and Kayak Services at Brown's Ferry Park
BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The City of Tualatin seeks an outside service provider to operate a seasonal canoe and kayak rental service at Brown's Ferry Park, 5855 SW Nyberg Lane, to serve the general public. The term of the concession agreement will be five years, with an initial one year operation period and two two-year extension periods to be exercised at the discretion of the City. Beyond actual use, there are also outstanding educational opportunities available on the river. Kayak and canoe rental service must be available from at least Memorial Day to Labor Day. Request for Proposals for Professional Services to Refine the Town Center Plan

The City of Tualatin requests proposals from qualified consultants, individuals, firms or teams to assist the City in preparing the Final Tualatin Town Center Plan (TCP). The overall goal of this project is to refine the Draft TCP that was accepted, but not adopted, by the Tualatin City Council in June 2005, and present a Final TCP to the Council for their adoption by April 2011. The majority of consultant work will focus on devising a public involvement strategy to solicit wide community input, preparing a market analysis, developing a refined or hybrid preferred development plan for the Town Center, making modifications to the transportation analysis and public utilities technical memoranda, and preparing a cost impact analysis. Consultant work will also include providing graphic design service support.

Seneca Street Sanitary Sewer

Major items of work consist of all associated improvements for 219 feet of lineal feet of 8-inch PVC Sanitary Sewer.

Blue Lot Pedestrian Bridge

Major items of work consist of furnishing and erecting a prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge with an 80-foot span across Hedges Creek, construction of associated foundations, sidewalks, and related work. Other work includes removal of an existing culvert, removal of pedestrian pathway and stairs, stream channel improvements, landscape restoration, and related work.

Tualatin Interstate-5/Nyberg Interchange Landscaping Improvements Project

Major items of work consists of landscape construction services for grading, planting, irrigation installation, and landscape-related work at approximately 12 acres along Interstate 5 at Nyberg Street, Tualatin, Oregon.

Indian Woods and Indian Meadows Subdivisions Watermain Replacement ProjectMajor items of work consist of approximately 11,000 linear feet of 4-inch to 10-inch diameter ductile iron pipe and associated fittings, valves, and water services in two subdivisions, replacing existing asbestos cement (AC) piping and related work. Norwood Pump StationMajor items of work consist of construction of a new pump station, including a new building (approx. 1000 SF), two new variable speed pumps, and associated appurtenances. RFP - Call to Artists Tualatin Public Library

The Tualatin Library Arts Selection Committee on behalf of the City of Tualatin, invite artists/teams living in the Pacific Northwest to submit qualifications and proposals in-concept for a public art opportunity at their new library. Exciting opportunities exist for two and three dimensional artwork in areas both inside and outside the building. Refer to Call to Artists for more details. Meridian Park Hospital and Bridgeport Elementary School Water System Improvement ProjectMajor items of work consist of the construction of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 12-inch diameter piping in two pipeline segments near the Meridian Park Hospital and Bridgeport Elementary School and related work. Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, may be examined at the office of the City Engineer, Tualatin. A copy of said documents may be obtained upon payment of $50.00 for each document. Documents will only be mailed upon receipt of $60.00 to cover the document fee and postage and handling.
