Welcome to the City of Tualatin. We hope will enjoy living here. Our fair city is conveniently situated approximately 12 miles south of Portland and 30 miles north of Salem. Tualatin is one of the fastest growing communities in the State of Oregon and is known as a big-spirited, small town. It is a place where more and more people choose to live and work. The vast majority of the City of Tualatin is within the Tigard-Tualatin School 23J District though some portions of the city lie within the West Linn/Wilsonville School District 3JT, the Sherwood School District 88J, or the Lake Oswego School District. Tualatin has five City Council officially-recognized neighorhood associations, as defined by Chapter 31.065 of the Tualatin Development Code.

Tualatin is served by Tri-Met lines 36, 37, 38, 76, and 96. Each line has a separate information number:

Park and Ride Lots are located at the NE corner of SW Sagert and SW Martinazzi Ave and the corner of SW Lower Boones Ferry and SW 72nd Ave.
