TUALATIN COMMONS

The Tualatin Commons is located at 8325 SW Nyberg St in Tualatin, Oregon and was dedicated and opened to the public on May 20, 1994.

This 19-acre site in the center of town formerly housed an operating, aromatic, pet food factory fronting on a major arterial was transformed into a three-acre manmade lake surrounded by a wide public promenade, plazas and an interactive fountain. Water lost from evaporation is made up from on-site wells which were the original city water supply. Lake water is not filtered or chemically treated for drinking or swimming.
