Repeats every month on the third Tuesday until Sun Jan 04 2015 . Tue, 12/16/2014 - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
The mission of the Tualatin Public Library Foundation is "to provide continued support for current programs and projects as well as establishing a perpetual fund for ongoing support."
The Tualatin Public Library Foundation is looking for you!
Do you use the library on a regular basis? Have your kids done the Summer Reading Program? Do you attend the classes and programs available for free? Do you want to be a part of making sure that the library maintains its excellence and strives to add even more so that each citizen of Tualatin finds something they are looking for?
Then consider becoming a member of the Tualatin Library Foundation Board. At present the Board is made up of people who meet once a month to determine how best to provide ways for people to provide the funding to increase the quality of service, materials, and technology of this wonderful institution.
A board member should be willing to learn the importance of the Foundation and its mission, and to work diligently to help raise the funds needed for the items the library administration sees a need for. It would help if you are already involved in the community and know people who will help us reach our goals.
Visit www.tualatinlibraryfoundation.org for more information.
Parking at the Library is limited because of parking lot improvements; additional parking is available at nearby public parking lots. See Construction Around the Library for more information.
