Emergency Preparedness

Make a plan, get prepared, stay informed

The City of Tualatin is a member of the Washington County Emergency Management Cooperative (EMC).  The EMC is committed to the development and maintenance of a county-wide, integrated system to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate against disasters.  EMC is comprised of Washington County, the cities of Beaverton, Cornelius, Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Sherwood, Tigard, and Tualatin, as well as Clean Water Services and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.

In times of increased uncertainty, fear can sometimes overtake facts. Hate speech and discrimination have no place in Tualatin. Diversity, equity, inclusion and welcoming are core to who Tualatin is and aspires to be. Please join us in continuing to uphold our commitment to treating every individual in our community with respect, kindness and humanity.
