Park Rules

Park rules are primarily intended to preserve a safe and enjoyable environment for the general public and to protect parks and park facilities from damage. Park rules are described in detail in the following sections of the Tualatin Municipal Code. Summaries of park rules are posted at entries and within the parks.

You can find the park rules here.

Please Leash Your Dogs and Pick Up After Them

With the weather warming, more and more people are out walking with their dogs. When you take your dog out for a walk on the town or in one of Tualatin's beautiful parks please follow leash laws. In all Tualatin parks, except for the off-leash dog area in Tualatin Community Park, all dogs must be on a leash not longer that 6-feet long at all times.

A dog’s natural instinct is to chase ducks, squirrels and other animals which can be harmful to the wildlife. Furthermore, even the most well-behaved dog can still frighten or hurt people or other dogs. Even if your dog is friendly, it is your responsibility to keep your dog restrained while out in public.

Also, remember to please clean up after your dog. Removing dog waste and old chew toys will leave our beautiful city and parks clean and usable for everyone.
