Tualatin is known for their beautiful lake, parks, river, wetlands, commercial areas and homes. A passion for how Tualatin should be developed and a desire to be a part of the decisions on land use in Tualatin - an excellent combination for serving on the Tualatin Planning Commission!

The committee has four (4) open positions, each to be appointed to serve a three year term.  New applicants and those seeking reappointment are asked to submit applications by the deadline of Friday, July 15, 2016 at 5:00 pm.

The Tualatin Planning Commission (TPC) consists of seven members appointed by Council, with no fewer than five members residing within the city. Commissioners are appointed for 3 year terms and can be reappointed for additional 3 year terms.

The Commission reviews, advises, and makes recommendations to City Council on matters of policy affecting land use planning and the Tualatin Community Plan, the City’s comprehensive plan.

MEETING SCHEDULE and TIME COMMITMENT
Meetings are held the third (3rd) Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm.  Commissioners should plan on approximately 2 hour meetings that vary depending on agenda topics.  Commissioners should also dedicate time (2-4 hours) to review staff reports and ask questions if needed.
