VAR 21-0002-- PGE Substation Fence Setback Variance

The applicant, Angelo Planning on behalf of Portland General Electric, proposes a Variance to setback requirements in the MBP zone, allowing a 10-foot fence setback from the right-of-way in lieu of the standard for a 50-foot setback applicable to fences. The subject territory is limited to the southwest corner of the subject parcel, south of the previously approved PGE Integrated Operations Center location. The Variance is related to a possible future substation development; future development of any substation would be subject to further Architectural Review.
