Fun! Mystery! Fun with Kids in the Library After Dark! Students from three local public elementary schools will visit Tualatin Public Library for an after-hours event.  There will be pizza, a scavenger hunt, and each child will receive a free book as sponsored by the Library Foundation.  Attendance usually reaches about 250 people, including roughly 150 children.

Tualatin is a great place because of the great people who live, work, and serve in our community. Those who serve on boards and committees plan for a vibrant future.  The following are open opportunities to voluntarily serve on a Tualatin advisory committee or board:

2-hour shifts are available to assist with the collection of data about how people use our parks and trails. Every September, the City participates in a regional and national project by which volunteers count and survey people who are biking and walking three areas in Tualatin - Tualatin Community Park, Brown's Ferry Park, and Hedges Creek Greenway.

Fall Opportunities Help maintain a safe place for dogs to socialize and play!  Bark chips need to be moved from the edges of the dog park back to the center to provide safe traction for our furry friends! Get some exercise, meet other dogs and their owners and make a difference in your park.  Shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, gloves, guidance, water and snacks are provided.
