JUVENILE KILLED AFTER BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLE
On April 1, 2019 at 11:02PM Tualatin Police Officers responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on SW 99W at SW Cipole RD in Tualatin.
When officers arrived they assisted medical personnel in providing aid to the male juvenile who was struck. The juvenile was transported to Oregon Health Sciences University where he died from his injuries.
The male driver of the vehicle that struck the juvenile was the initial caller to 911 reporting the incident. He remained at the location and cooperated with officers as they conducted their investigation. Facts gathered at the scene give reason to believe the juvenile may have intentionally stepped in front of the vehicle.
It does not appear that speed or alcohol was a factor in this crash.
