Shuttle Bus Crashes Into Building Overhang
On Friday, August 25, 2017 at approximately 8:30 am Tualatin Police responded to a crash involving a shuttle bus into a building overhang at the building previously occupied by Haggen Food & Pharmacy, located at 8515 SW Tualatin-Sherwood Road, in Tualatin.
When officers arrived they found the shuttle bus stuck under the overhang, near the entrance to the unoccupied building. The bus engine caught fire after the crash. TVFR responded and extinguished the flames. There were no passengers on the bus and the driver sustained only minor scrapes. No other persons or vehicles were involved.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No further information at this time.
